Motivated by recent studies that highlight the importance of firm level heterogeneity in understanding the impact of policy changes on firm behavior and outcomes, this paper allows trade and labor market outcomes to differ by firm characteristics, including their location across environments with rigid versus flexible labor regulations and the industry in which they operate.
