ADB Gender Month 2018 Celebration

3
01 March 2018 to 31 March 2018

The dearth in women leaders is one of the main gender challenges in the Asia and Pacific region. The low representation of women in public and political spheres and processes has adverse consequences for both women as well as national development outcomes. This year, as ADB joins the international community in celebrating Gender Month, two distinguished speakers with leadership roles have been chosen to reflect on women’s leadership and how the participation of women leaders can significantly support economic growth and other social development objectives.
