Rice in Bangladesh and Cambodia is grown using smart, climate-friendly, water-saving technologies that yields better harvests for farmers. 

Through ADB's Investment Assessment and Applications of High-Level Technology for Food Security in Asia and the Pacific project, the International Rice Research Institute embarked on a study and field demonstration of smart agriculture technology for better rice yields in Bangladesh and Cambodia. The ADB project promotes the use of high-level technology in both upstream and downstream agriculture, assess investment needs, and prioritize areas for investment.
